Buddha once said, “Those who have failed to work toward truth have missed the purpose of living.” By seeking truth, we are freed from ignorance and are liberated from the corruption and deception that perpetuate in our society. And as the Bible says, “The truth will set you free” (John 8:32).

• Scientific truth: The modern era, influenced by figures like Descartes, holds that truth can be discovered through logic and reason, leading to a belief in objectivity and progress.
• Social and subjective truth: Some perspectives argue that truth is constructed by society or individuals, a concept that gained prominence in the postmodern era.
• Correspondence truth: The classic view that truth is a statement’s agreement with facts or reality remains central, with a persistent need for accuracy in everyday life and professional fields.
